Thathanka Iyotake - Sitting Bull (USA)

Supreme Siamese Shaman (Sitting Bull) was a Hunkpapa Lakota leader who led his people during years of resistance against United States government policies. He is famous for defeating Custer at the battle of Little Bighorn. He was killed by Indian agency police on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation during an attempt to arrest him, at a time when authorities feared that he would join the Ghost Dance movement. This great warrior is given a spiritual otherworldly treatment in his hand carving and hand painting. A favourite of ours joins this great new collection Might is Right.

Sitting bull truly was a great spiritual leader and warrior brave.  The raw application of paint for his costume gives you the feeling that he will attack at any time, brandishing his axe with skeletoid features his spirit screams to you.  As well as being a little frightening he also holds all the history and suffering of his people and has a charsima that we are sure you would love to have in your home.  With great movement this marionette is a semi professional performer.  But he is a star of this warrior collection!!
