1920-28, Czechoslovakia, Hand-carved marionette, wooden heads, gypsum hands and legs, textile.
These marionettes were designed by Josef Lada, Czech artist, writer and painter who wrote legendary fairy-tales known by every Czech Boy and girl.
His marionettes were made as small series production and mostly used in small amateur and semi-professional theatres.
