Bull warrior in the retro style of old puppets

The bull is a somewhat unusual character among Czech puppets. Jakub carved him in a classical style, so he reminds a bit of the charm of old antique marionettes. Look at the subtle chisel strokes illustrating the beautiful wood grain. The pleasant painting emphasizes the slightly frowning expression of the warrior bull. You can see from his look that he is not to be trifled with.

The traditionally carved puppet has traditional moveability as well as a wooden base controller (marionette operation device) and tether. The head is connected to the controller by a thick wire, the limbs are classically tied with threads. The puppet is thus easy to handle, even if it is only capable of basic movements.
