THEATRE MISCELLANEA (www.divadlo-most.cz) DIVADLO ROZMARNOSTI The Theatre of Miscellanea is a professional puppet theater performing in Northern Bohemia. It was established in 1988 as the second artistic ensemble of The City Theatre in Most.

The name of this stage determines its artistic endeavour - m i s c e l l a n e a. The main aspiration is to bring a variety of theatre genres - dramatic art, mine art, music and especially the various techniques of puppeteering and marionette performance. The same emphasis is laid on variety of repertoire - classical and modern fairy tales, popular Czech and foreign literarture, and opera.

Performances are meant for children particularly but adults and adolescents are also whole heartedly welcome. During the years of professional activity The Theatre of Miscellanea has put on about sixty premieres and has put on about three thousand and five hundred performances not only in Czech Republic but also in Russia, Bulgaria, Poland, Slovenia, Austria, and Japan.
