Harpy

We know harpies from the Greek mythology. Female monster with a horrific face, pale with hunger, and the body of a vulture. They were winged spirits best known for constantly stealing all food from the King of Thrace Phineas. The literal meaning of the word seems to be "that which snatches". This wooden statuette is an authors representation of her look.
