This marionette represents an Old Sailor. It is part of the limited hand-carved collection of original marionettes created by the artist. A real work of art! The figure is carved from linden wood, conserved with bees-wax and painted with transparent oil colors, in keeping with the character of the wood. His costume is made from Hessian cloth and his hat from soft leather. The marionette is controlled by a rocker, which gives it the mobility necessary for a professional theatre level.
