Collection: Lenka Unique Carved Stoneman Korund

This marionette represents a fancy creature. It is part of the limited hand-carved collection of original marionettes created by the artist. A real work of art! The only word which is characteristic of this one is Stoneman Korund. Korund is the name of the stone/sign which is imbedded in the forehead of the marionette. The figure is carved from linden wood, conserved with bees-wax and painted with transparent oil colors, in keeping with the character of the wood. The costume is made from soft leather. The marionette is controlled by a rocker, which gives it the mobility necessary for a professional theatre level.
