Czech Marionettes

This is yet another fabulous creation from Prague. This Green Fay stands about 20 inches tall. She is carved from a unique wood of lime tree and is an original work of art. No two are alike. This marionette's clothes are hand-sewn. Indeed, each marionette is created in the instant of artistic realization as the artist lovingly sculpts the hands, face, and feet of these marionettes. These marionettes are not modeled after a prototype or picture, but rather created on the spur of the moment.
